Terms of Service

1. The services

We sell three things, and only three things:

• Website Tune-Up — $99, one-time. We speed up your site, fix basic SEO issues, find and fix broken links, and audit it on mobile. One round of revisions is included after delivery. This doesn't include building new pages, moving you to a new platform, or ongoing work — that's what the maintenance plan below is for.
• Landing Page in 48 Hours — $199, one-time. One page, written and built for you, delivered within 48 hours of us receiving your content. One round of revisions is included. We build a single page — we don't currently build multi-page sites. If your project needs more than one page, tell us up front and we'll be honest about whether we're the right fit.
• Maintenance — $49/month, optional. Ongoing monitoring and small fixes so your Tune-Up results stick. Not required, and not bundled into either one-time service by default.

2. Refund policy

The Website Tune-Up comes with a speed guarantee: if we can't measurably speed up your site, you get a full refund. Here's exactly how we measure that — we run a Lighthouse performance test on your site before we start any work, then run the same test again on the same page once we're done. If your after score isn't higher than your before score, you get your money back. No argument, no fine print.

This guarantee applies to the Website Tune-Up only. It doesn't extend to the Landing Page service or the Maintenance subscription.

3. Your responsibilities

For us to do the work, you agree to:

• Give us accurate access credentials when the job requires them (hosting, CMS, domain, whatever applies).
• Respond to our questions and requests in a reasonable time. Delays on your end push out your delivery date — see Turnaround times below.
• Confirm you have the right to authorize changes to the website you're giving us access to — either you own it, or you're authorized by whoever does.

4. Access and credentials

We only ask for the access we need to do the work — for example, your WordPress admin, hosting panel, or DNS settings. That access is temporary, for the length of the project. We recommend revoking or changing it once we've delivered. We never share your credentials with anyone outside the people doing the work for you.

5. Backups and liability

Before we make any changes, we take a backup of your site. If something breaks because of work we did, we restore it from that backup. Beyond restoring your site, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service.

6. Maintenance subscription

The $49/month plan is billed automatically through Stripe. Cancel anytime by emailing us or using the link in your billing emails. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you've already paid for — you keep the service through that period, and we don't prorate refunds for the unused days.

7. Turnaround times

The timelines we quote — 3–5 business days for the Tune-Up, 48 hours for the Landing Page — are estimates, not guarantees. They start once we have everything we need from you: access, content, and any approvals. If you're slow to provide those, your delivery date moves back by the same amount.

8. Our discretion

We can decline to take on, or refund, any order at our discretion — for example, if a site contains illegal content, or a request falls outside what we can responsibly deliver.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
